History & Recognition

The club, established in 1953, was originally known as the Onkaparinga Bowling Club, the name was changed in 1995 to the current Oakbank Bowling Club.

Shown here are the numerous Honour Rolls and tournament plaques from both clubs, reflecting a history spanning from 1953 to the present.

The club-rooms were opened on 17th October 1971… the original grass surface was replaced with synthetic material in 2016.
